Best performances: Fourth in semi-finals at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. Fifth in semi-finals at last year's Beijing Olympics. Third at last year's World Athletics Final in Stuttgart and sixth in the semi-final at the 2nd World Youth Championships in Debrecen, Hungary, in 2001.

·    Isa Phillips was third in 49.50 in the 400m hurdles at Belem Grand Prix meet in Brazil

At the National Senior Championships Isa Phillips ran 49.08 behind Danny McFarlane (48.68)

·    National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) champion Isa Phillips,

2005:

·    TCU Invitational held at the Lowden Track Complex in Texas: Isa Phillips, won the men's 400m hurdles.

2003:

·    32nd CARIFTA Games at the  Hasely Crawford Stadium: Isa was a team member in the Boys Under 20 4x400M  metres relay team that won gold

·    Pan American Junior Championships at the National Stadium Barbados: In the 400m hurdles for men, Isa Phillips had to dig deep in his reserves to secure a silver medal.
