2002

In 2002, Chelsea Hammond competed in the UNC ealry invitational and won the High Jump, whilst placing second in the Long Jump. She won the College Division Long Jump at Penns Relays. At the end of the out door season, Hammond was ranked at number two on the all-time list for Long Jump and broke the school record for High Jump.

2003

Hammond won the Long Jump at the Sea Ray Relays and earned first All-American honours of career at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.

2004

At the 2004 Penn relays, Hammond placed first in the Long Jump with a jump of 21". She finished third in the NCAA east Regional at Long Jump and first in the High Jump at the USC Invitational.  Hammond finished third at the Kentucky Invitational in High Jump.  In the SEC championship she placed second in the Pentathlon.

2005

In 2005 Hammond  beat her personal best outdoor in High Jump of 1.75m. She ranked forth in Long Jump: Jamaica's Top Track and Field Performers.

2007 

Hammond entered the Supreme Ventures/Puma National Athletics Championships in 2007. In the long jump, she beat former champion Elva Goulbourne with 6.87m on her final jump.
