Marc attended Queens Royal College then Eldorado Senior Comprehensive followed by Auburn University in Alabama. He has consistently represented his school and country throughout his track career. He was the Pan American Junior Champion in 2001 (1st 100m) & participated in the National Championships 2002-2005, 2008 (1st 100m).
Some of his appearances include the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia, World Junior Championships, Santiago, Chile, 2003 Pan American Games, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, 2004 Olympics, Athens, Greece, 2005 World Championships, Helsinki, Finland, 2006 Commonwealth Games, Melbourne, Australia, 2007 World Championships, Osaka, Japan, and more recently 9.97 at London Grand Prix placing 2nd to Jamaica’s Asafa Powell this year.
Marc was raised in Trincity, Trinidad and he specializes in the 100 metres and the 4x100 metres. He has had an impressive track career thus far and is rated as the one to watch for Beijing 2008.
