Andrew Hinds will be following in the footsteps of his father at the Beijing Olympics. In 1968, his father Hadley Hinds, also a sprinter was a part of the first Barbadian Olympic team, just two years after Independence. Hinds presently trains with the elite Maximum Velocity Performance Centre (MVP) under coach Stephen Francis who also coaches Asafa Powell, Sherone Simpson and Brigitte Foster-Hylton.
