Bradley Ally
Swimmer Bradley Ally first started competing for Barbados at the age of 11 and has been one of its most prolific medalists in the sport, winning over 20 medals at CARIFTA, the CAC Games and the Pan American Games.
In 2004, he broke the USA National High School record in the 200m IM, a record which still stands. Ally holds the Florida high school record in the 100m breaststroke.
Ally represented Barbados at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. He won the opening heat in the 200m breaststroke and also competed in the 200m IM, 400m IM and the 100m breaststroke.
2006: Ally collected six All-American honors at the NCAA Championships; he finished fourth in the 200m IM with a career-best time of 1:43.69, fifth-place in the 400m IM and sixth in the 200m breaststroke. Both the 400m IM and 200m breaststroke were personal bests. In the Central American and Caribbean Games, Ally finished 1st in the 200m IM, 200m breastroke, 400m IM and 4x 100m IM relay. He came 2nd in the 100m breastroke.
2007: At thePan-American Games, Ally finsished 3rd in the 200m IM.
