Asafa Powell, Usain Bolt and Michael Frater have all booked their places in the semi-finals by placing in the top three of their respective heats of the men's 100-m at the World Championships in Berlin, Germany.

Also advancing from other Caribbean Islands are Daniel Bailey from Antigua, Marc Burns from Trinidad (10.12) and his team mate Richard Thompson (10.08).
Powell advanced with the fastest time of 9.95 winning his heat. Bolt came second behind Bailey with a time of 10.03 in his heat while Frater finished second behind Tyson Gay from the USA in 10.09 seconds in his heat.
Former world Champion, Kim Collins finished fourth in the heat with Asafa Powell, while Andrew Hinds of the Bahamas also finished fourth in heat four, while Emmanuel Callander of Trinidad finished seventh in heat five.
The semi-finals and final of the 100-m will be tomorrow starting at 12:10 pm Jamaica time.
The heats and quarter finals of the women 100-m will also begin tomorrow at 4:55 a.m. Jamaica time.
