Three more Jamaicans through to finals »
Three more Jamaican athletes have advanced to the finals of their respective events after finishing well in the semi-fnals held today in Berlin, Germany.
Novlene Williams-Mills and Shericka Williams are both through to the finals of the women's 400m which will be on Tuesday at 12:35 pm Jamaica time.
Fellow Jamaican Christine Day was not so fortunate and finished last in her heat.
Danny McFarlane will be representing Jamaica in the 400m hurdles final after qualifying as one of the fastest losers. He placed fourth in his heat. His Jamaican team mate Isa Phillips was not so fortunate and failed to advance to the final even though he too placed fourth in his heat. His time was simply not fast enough to guarantee his qualification.
The finals of the men's 400m hurdles will also be on Tuesday at 1:50 pm Jamaica time.
