Jamaicans qualify for 400 m semi-finals »

Three Jamaican athletes have advanced to the semi-final in the women’s 400 metres hurdles after winning their heats held today in Berlin, Germany.

Kaliese Spencer clocked 55.12 seconds, Nikiesha Wilson in 55.37 seconds and Melaine Walker in 55.17 seconds. 

Josanne Lucas from Trinidad and Tobago also advanced in the semi-final in 55.41 seconds.

Kenia Sinclair will be representing Jamaica in the 800 m semi-final today at 12.30 p.m. Jamaica time.

Kerron Stewart, Shelly-Ann Fraser, Veronica Campbell-Brown and Aleen Bailey  will be representing Jamaica in the 100m semi-final today at 12.05 p.m. and also in the final at 2.35 p.m. Jamaica time. 

The semi-final for the women's 400m hurdles will be held on Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. Jamaica time.
