Jamaican men through to 110 m hurdles final »

Jamaicans Maurice Wignall and Dwight Thomas  are through to the 110 m hurdles final after qualifying in the semi-final this morning at the 12th IAAF World Championships in Berlin, Germany.

Wignall came in second in his heat in 13.43 seconds behind Britain William Sharman who came in first in 13.38 seconds.

Wignall's team mate Dwight Thomas came third in the second heat with the fastest qualifying time of 13.37 seconds, while David Payne of the United States came in second in 13.24 seconds. Ryan Braithwaite of Barbados won the heat in 13.18 seconds.

Also advancing to the final of the 110 m hurdles semi-final are Terrence Trammell from the United States who won in 13.24 seconds and Petr Svoboda from Czech Republic in 13.33 seconds.

Wei Ji of China came third in heat one with the fastest qualifying time of 13.41 seconds.
