Jamaican Dwight Thomas won the men’s 110-metre hurdles at the Super Track and Field meet in Kawasaki, Japan today.

Thomas took the event in 13.37 seconds. Japanese Moses Yume was second in 13.77 and Konstantin Shabanov of Russia finished third in 13.96.

Thomas was the only Jamaican athlete at the meet.

Meanwhile, Tyson Gay ran a slow 10.13 seconds to win the men's 100 metres.

The American had equaled the second-fastest time for the 100 on Sunday in Shanghai, running 9.69 to match Usain Bolt's then-world record at last year's Beijing Olympics.
